A Fabulous Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year! We headed out to Rockford, to enjoy dinner and company with the whole family! It was nice to see EVERYONE! And as usual the kids had a blast showing off to the whole family. We are so very blessed to be able to spend the holidays together! After a yummy dinner and much needed conversation, my little sister Amy and I geared up to go do our holiday shopping. It was a freezing 6 degrees, but that didn't stop us! We waited in line at Toys R Us for over three hours... and had a AWESOME time! We got some amazing deals, but mostly the time I get to spend with my baby sister and the memories we make are far more exciting! Now on to Ava's 2nd birthday and Christmas! It really is the most wonderful time of the year!!!!

Thankful!

Today I am feeling very thankful! I'm so thankful for the amazing family I have. It amazes me how supportive they are. How much they give with out ever expecting something in return. For all the understanding they have and the love that radiates from them. Its so nice to have a family that are truely your best friends! Someone you can go to no matter what. How lucky am I? Not only that, but I am VERY VERY grateful for my three beautiful babies. I don't know what I did to deserve such beautiful, happy, sweet, loving kids... but I feel like the luckiest person in the world to have them in my life. They make me smile, they make my heart melt! Anyway feeling a very overwhelming feeling of love and graditude today!

Just a tiny update!!

So I still don't have a digital camera so once again there will be NO pictures! But just a quick little update, Faith is enjoying school! They do lots of fun things and she is really likes it! She is in dance and bowling and is sooo excited for Halloween! Kali is still Kali, tiny with alot of additude!!! She loves preschool and she is also in bowling and dance! Ava is growing like a little weed!!! She gets into EVERYTHING!!!! She is talking more everyday, learning how to push moms buttons too!!! Ethan is working a TON!!! Seems like hes never home, so I am back to being a railroad widow!!! We Love this time of year and there are lots of fun things to do! Now only if my children would be good maybe we could enjoy them!!!

Fall.... is here!

Faith is officially a kindergartner! Can you believe it? She absolutely loves going to school! She loves being independent so she loves riding the bus! She was kinda disappointed when she figured out that she already knew everything they were teaching but she has adjusted well... and is making a whole bunch of new friends! Kali is in her 2nd year of preschool! She couldn't be happier than to go and see her teachers and play with her friends, even if she is in the early class! Ava is giving us a run for our money! She is always trying to get outside! She loves animals and is slow but surely coming to love or at least like other people too! The weather has sure taken a dive on us! Last weekend my kids were in the fair parade and got sunburned! Yesterday it was only like 50 degrees!!! What? We love the fall at our house, it means the fair (which we did today) and warm yummy food, and HALLOWEEN! What could be better! I just wish that the days would slow down a little and that time wouldn't fly so fast!

The end of summer!

Our summer is coming to and end. Sad! Last weekend the kids and i loaded up the mini van and took off to bear lake. The weather was perfect... the kids not so much... which made the mom not to happy. But all in all we had a nice time! When we got home we had much to do.. including dance, ballet and registering for kindergarten! Yes, kindergarten can you even believe it!!! Well in the mix of all that I had a little accident which required and nose surgery! Barf! Anyway school starts thursday! Faith's teacher is Miss Law (who we are very excited about!) and she also has oreintaion on wednesday! Faith 6th birthday is tuesday so we will be adding a rodent to our house hold! Oh the joys of children! Hope everyone had a wonderful summer! We sure did! Can't believe how fast it went!

This summer has seemed to fly by! I can feel it coming to an end =( But at least we will be back on a regular schedule! We have 3 family reunions in the next four weeks! Also too many birthdays to even mention! Well I guess I could mention two of them, Ethan's is the 2Nd and Faiths is the 24th! With all that needs to be done around here before school starts, I'm starting to feel a little panicky!!! Anyway here are some of the last photos I got before my camera broke!!!

Happy 4th of July!

Well its finally here! The weekend my husband waits for all year round, my kids do too, but not compared to my husband!! He loves the 4th of July... in fact he loves is so much that he thinks we should spend more money on this holiday than on Christmas! Well fat chance at that but I do love the 4th also!!! This year we are lucky because they are celebrating our independence in Idaho Falls today, and in Pocatello tomorrow! So really is will be a weekend full of fun!!! Sadly my camera broke last weekend while camping so I'll have no pictures to post!!! Anyway.... Everyone have a wonderful holiday weekend and enjoy your freedom that so many have fought for and continue to fight for!!!! HAPPY 4th Of JULY!!!!!

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!

Happy Fathers day to my wonderful husband and awesome father!!! My children and I have been very blessed to have such wonderful fathers and grandfathers!! So today we celebrate them! They do so much for us, and give us lots of love!!! Thank you Ethan, for being such an amazing dad, for loving our kids with all your heart and for giving all you can! Thank you Dad (Bart) for being the one person I call if I have a question, for being an awesome grandpa to my children, and for all the fun times! And Thank You Grandpa's (and great Grandpa's... Don Jones and Clair Packer) you have been wonderful examples to me and my children, someone we can laugh with and someone who is always there to listen! We Love You All So Much!!! HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!

Summer Fun!

The last week or so has been kinda crazy but definitely fun here at the falter household. Faith had a couple soccer games... shes really stinking cute and absolutely loves it! Also Kali and Faith started dance, gymnastics, and ballet! They are so cute in their tiny leotards and they are so cute to watch! Faith really likes the gym part. She loves the uneven bars and flips all around on them... Kali on the other had is about as limber as a log... but when it comes to dance, she has got the attitude! Its so fun for them and gives them something to day twice a week! Ava has been running at full speed lately and is a super happy little girl! We can't manage to keep her in the house though. If the door opens a crack she takes off running to get out! How Fun!!! We camped in our backyard one night... it was wonderful! We all had a blast and loved that if we needed anything we could run in the house!!! Summer is finally here and we couldn't be HAPPIER!!!

Not quite thousands... but the tooth fairy came!

Wow!!! What a week it has been!!! First, Faith and Kali both had their butterflies "hatch" ! They were so excited! It is really an amazing thing to watch a tiny caterpillar turn into a beautiful butterfly! They sure had a fun time setting them free!!! Lets see.. Second, Faith Marie graduated from preschool! I was one sad yet proud momma!! She is so smart and getting so big! She's very excited to be starting kindergarten in the fall! Her graduation ceremony was super special and she did en excellent job with her part! Third , Faith had her very first soccer practice this week! She has waited years to be old enough to play.. and was soooo excited! She woke up on Wednesday morning asking me how long til practice... to bad it wasn't til six thirty that evening! Anyway she did really good at practice and had a blast! And Fourth, Faith went to the dentist and had to have a tooth pulled! That child of mine is so brave! She was excellent at the dentist, she didn't even flinch! Me on the other had, I was in the corner bawling my eyes out! I'm sure the dentist thought I was a nut case!! Oh well!!! So Faith went to bed extra early tonight, with the hope of the tooth fairy coming! She told me maybe the tooth fairy would bring her thousands of dollars! If that's the case I'm going to start pulling my teeth!!!

Teachers Gifts

Well the Falter kids had their last day of school on Tuesday! The kids painted flower pots for their teachers and they each picked out a flower that they could plant in them! They turned out really cute! Faith will graduate from preschool on June 1st, and i'm kinda dreading it! Not because I am not proud of her... she is the top in her school and just doing excelent, its just because I will only have one preschooler next year and one kindergartener! Where has the time gone??? We are planning on having a fun and busy summer if the weather ever decides to warm up! The kids are signed up for Dance and Gymnastics class, it will be a one hour class, once a week! I think it will be good for them to have something to do! Faith is also playing ayso soccer (if I ever get a call from her coach!), add summer movies, and camping whenever we can and i'd say our summer will be swell!!! It can't get here fast enough!!! This week the kids have been quite enjoyable and silly! These are just random pictures!

Fun with the Falter Family!

So last weekend was super busy... but super fun! On friday night we went to Ethans aunt Connies house for her 50th birthday party! The kids love Connie and Susan! They were so happy that they were able to see them! Connies kids (Sheena, Seth, Jacob) and Ethans uncle (Lynn) are in a band... They played at the party and it was pretty fun to listen too! After Connies party we had to head back to blackfoot, for Jared's (Ethans brother) graduation party! How exciting for him that he graduated from ISU. HE graduated with a degree having to do with some robots and electronics in communications.... well I don't know! But good for him! WAY TO GO JARED!!!! Faith gave her first talk in primary on sunday, she did an excellent job. And then both Kali and Faith sang in sacrament! What more could a mother ask for on mothers day?? It was a great weekend!

The first blog!

It seems everyone blogs these days. And I really enjoy reading other peoples blogs but I am not sure if I have anything to blog about. But if nothing else, maybe I will be able to look back on my blog and remember how and what I was feeling when I wrote it!
Its late, the kids are sleeping, Ethan's working, and I can't sleep. So here I am, trying to figure out this blog thing.So here it goes!
Today I woke up with a sore throat, a pounding headache, and a sick baby. What a way to start the day. It wasn't long before I was running around, getting kids dressed, fed, their hair done, finding backpacks and coats. I can't believe that this is the last month of school! Boy how time flys! Both Kali and Faith brought home caterpillars and instructions on how to care for them so they will turn into butterflies.. They were both pretty excited! Ava is grouchy, she has been sick with one thing or another for over two weeks now. I keep hoping that she'll get feeling better! I feel really bad for her! Ethan is working really hard and keeping really busy (though this past weekend he was home sick with some kind of kidney infection). And as for me... I just do the stay at home mom things, and I love it! Lets hope I can still say that tomorrow! =)
